INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING THE STEAM SAUNA

Step 1 - Preparation (10-15 minutes)
We usually begin sauna treatments being in the 1.5 - 2 hours after the last meal,
Before entering the sauna, the body should be washed and thoroughly dried.
People with "cold" feet should warm them with hot water.
We enter the Sauna in a swimsuit.
During the time of staying in the sauna we are not allowed to lubricate our body or face with any creams, as it reduces the surface area of the body (which expels the sweat).

Step 2 - Heating (20-60 minutes)
You should sit directly on the seat or on a towel.
Adopt a comfortable position for yourself.
Length of stay in the bath is very individual and depends only on the user – it may be shorter.
The heating process can be single or divided into several sessions with breaks for cooling the body. Any changes in mood which indicate an intolerance to steam-bathing, should be taken seriously, including the termination of further dip.
During your stay in the sauna, do not complement liquids. It is done only during breaks.

Step 3 - Cooling (up to 10 minutes)
After going out of the bath you should cool your body.
We are lowering the body temperature with cold water (10-30°C) - take a shower, and pour yourself with a stream of water.
We always start to cool the body from the feet, moving towards the head.
It is inadvisable to use soap.
This step is the biggest burden to our body.

Step 4 - Rest (15-30 minutes)
During and after the procedure it is not convenient to make any physical effort.
It is advisable to drink mineral water or juice in moderate amounts.
Do not dress up immediately, because you may sweat for a few minutes after the treatment.

Step 5 - Additional treatments (15-30 minutes)
After the bath, we may use other treatments such as solarium, massage, brushing, whipping with birch flagellars (twigs).
